Operation:

* The LM393 comparator compares the voltages applied to its non-inverting (+IN) and inverting (-IN) inputs.
* If the +IN voltage is greater than the -IN voltage, the output (OUT) goes low.
* If the -IN voltage is greater than or equal to the +IN voltage, the output goes high.
* The output is an open-drain, meaning that an external pull-up resistor is required.

Power Connections:

* Single supply: Connect V+ to the positive voltage supply and V- to ground.
* Dual supply: Connect V+ to the positive supply voltage, V- to the negative supply voltage, and Pin 4 to ground.
